Biography
In February 2014, Don joined Sun Coast Partners as a principle offering a combined 27 years of practice in the Commercial Real Estate business. He has earned national recognition multiple times in his career, as well as being a top performer in the industry mupliple years runnin. Previous to joining SCP, Harley & Associates Commercial Real Estate, Inc. was incorporated and opened for business in 2001. From the time of its inception, through February 2014, the firm completed more than 700 commercial real estate transactions (Sales and Leases).
Born in Raleigh, NC, Don received a B.A. in Business Administration and a Minor in Economics from Campbell University and practiced Commercial Real Estate in Raleigh (RTP), Richmond, Baltimore, Washington DC and of course, Wilmington, NC. During this time, he had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in just about all facets of Commercial Real Estate, e.g. general brokerage, property management, development, leasing, site selection, and marketing.
He has served several boards including: Realtors Commercial Alliance board of directors (twice), BOD, Wilmington Downtown Inc, and BOD Cape Fear Council, Boy Scouts of America. Don lives in Mid-Town Wilmington with his wife. He enjoys golfing, boating, fishing & hunting.
