The Village Shoppes at Waterford Hires Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast as Property Manager for 102,000 Square Foot Retail and Office CenterJuly 21, 2017
Complex is 87% Leased – 13,000 Square Feet Available
Wilmington, NC – Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast, a commercial real estate and property management firm, was recently hired by The Village Shoppes at Waterford to manage the mixed-use retail and office complex located on US 17 in Leland, NC. The Village Shoppes is a 102,000-square-foot complex conveniently located adjacent to Waterford of the Carolinas, a master planned residential community comprised of 1,010 home-sites and an amenity-rich country club lifestyle.
Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast is managing eight individual buildings within the complex including 473, 477, 485, 497, 503, 508, 509 and 511 Olde Waterford Way. Tenants include Fat Tony’s Restaurant; Port City Java; Forever 24 Fit; Intracoastal Realty; Town of Belville; Belville ABC Store; Movement Mortgage; Cape Fear Cancer Specialists and numerous other office, retail and medical services companies. The properties under management are owned by Bert Exum, a local developer of numerous residential and mixed-use communities in North Brunswick County, including Waterford of the Carolinas, Magnolia Greens and Compass Pointe.
“I have been working with Bert Exum for more than 20 years on a wide variety of his developments and have been handling the leasing and marketing of The Village Shoppes at Waterford since the first building went in the ground in 2002,” said Don Harley, broker and partner with CBC SunCoast. “It was a natural progression to expand these services into property management through Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast.”
In addition to managing the eight properties on Olde Waterford Way, CBC SunCoast manages a ninth building in the complex – 22 Waterford Business Center Way. This property is owned by SS Belville, LLC and houses Verizon and Mattress Firm.
Heidi Burgess, Property Manager for Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast, and Diane Walston, Assistant Property Manager, work together to manage The Village Shoppes, while Don Harley handles all leasing and sales. A variety of retail and office space is now available for lease and range in size from 600 to 2,943 square feet. In addition, four land parcels within The Village Shoppes are available for purchase. The lots range from .7 to 1.38 acres and are zoned for office, retail, hospitality, restaurant or medical services.
