Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast Agents Negotiate 6 New Leases at 5226 S College RoadMay 11, 2018

WILMINGTON, NC – Agents with Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners recently negotiated lease agreements for six new tenants at 5226 South College Road, a retail center adjacent to Monkey Junction in Wilmington, NC. This 40,000-square-foot shopping center, represented by Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners agent Allan Fox, is located at the intersection of College and Carolina Beach Roads in Monkey Junction. Tenants include Cape Fear Seafood Company, Petsmart, and Vintage Values. According to Fox, 5226 S College Road is now 90% leased, with just one 3,650 square foot unit remaining.
The Jiu Jitsu Institute, a martial arts academy offering instruction in the Atos style of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, has leased Unit #3, a 1,600-square-foot space. The Institute has a grand opening scheduled for May 12. Allan Fox represented both the landlord and the tenant in this lease.
Primrose Cottage, a consignment shop featuring artwork, home décor, furniture and collectables, has leased Unit #6, a 4,000-square-foot space. Primrose Cottage has taken possession of the premises with a grand opening scheduled for May 19. The shop moved to 5226 S. College from its prior location in Carolina Beach. Allan Fox represented the landlord and the tenant in this lease.
Beach Bagels, a bagel café specializing in traditionally-made bagels (first boiled then baked), has leased Unit #7A, a 2,250-square-foot space. The unit is currently being up-fitted with a grand opening expected in early June. This will be a third location for Beach Bagels, with shops at 7220 Wrightsville Avenue, and 5906 Oleander Drive. Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners agents Mark Johnson and Janet Rose represented the tenant in this lease. Allan Fox represented the landlord.
Angel Nails, a full-service nail salon, has leased Unit #9A, a 2,000-square-foot space. The salon opened on May 2. Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners agent Glenn Imboden represented the tenant in this lease and Allan Fox represented the landlord.
Soif de Vin, a neighborhood wine shop, has leased Unit #9B, a 2,000-square-foot space. Owner Amy Siler, one of the founders of the Wilmington Wine & Food Festival, chose this location due to the lack of similar establishments in the area. The shop, which opened on April 13, sells wines from around the world by the bottle, also offering a tasting bar. Allan Fox represented both the landlord and the tenant in this lease.
Felix Café, a restaurant specializing in American cuisine with an island-style flare and theme, has
leased Unit #11, a 5,000-square-foot space. The business is expected to open in mid-to-late May. This is a second location for Felix Café. Its first location is at 2140 Burnett Blvd in Wilmington. Allan Fox represented both the landlord and the tenant in this lease.
