Bill Rose has been a commercial real estate broker since 1995. He joined Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast in March of 2009 as a part of the merger with Prudential Commercial Real Estate, another large Wilmington based commercial firm. During his time as a real estate broker, Bill has completed several hundred transactions involving all property types, including both leasing and sales. Some of his clients have been financial institutions for which he located new branch sites and handled the sale and leasing of excess facilities. Prior to entering commercial real estate, he spent over 25 years in the mortgage banking, savings and loan and commercial banking business in the Wilmington area. Much of his career was spent as the chief lending officer of Carolina Savings Bank and the last several years of his banking career as President and CEO of the bank prior to its merger with BB & T.
Bill has lived and worked in the Wilmington area since 1970 and has been actively involved in the community throughout that time. Currently, he is an Executive Board Member of the Cape Fear Council of the Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout), Past President and Board Member of the Wilmington Family YMCA, the Wilmington Rotary Club and an active member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. He is a Past President of the N. C. Azalea Festival and the Regional Commercial Alliance (MLS) of the Wilmington Board of Realtors. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Cape Fear Community College. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and participated in graduate programs at the University of Georgia and Indiana University.
Janet A. Rose, Broker/Consultant with over thirty plus years of knowledge and expertise in the commercial and residential real estate industry. As a successful business professional her background encompasses land acquisitions, hotel, restaurants, office and apartment buildings, residential new home communities and consulting opportunities with various businesses responsible for expanding their growth potential. Fifteen years of her career she was employed with a multi-state developer based in New York as their Senior VP then promoted to President of the Southeast Region. She was responsible for overseeing all operations for various new home communities in the southeast.
Before moving to North Carolina twenty years ago, Janet owned a commercial real estate company for several years and also worked with a leading restaurant broker in the NY/NJ markets. She also was strongly involved in residential land acquisition sales and continued to represent her clients from inception to the close out of each new home community. Her commercial land sales included prime properties surrounding Newark Airport and various major restaurant chain placements across NJ as well as office building sales and leasing.
Upon her move to NC, she was employed by a leading real estate firm in Raleigh, NC as their Coastal New Home Director. She represented several developer /builder new home communities from land acquisitions to close out of neighborhoods. In 1995 she joined a multi-state development group as their Senior VP and then President with a target focus on the Raleigh, Wilmington and Brunswick county markets. She also played a strong role in the expansion of the company’s growth across the country.
In 2005 she formed The Consultant Group, LLC, owner/broker - TCG’s focus includes real estate sales and marketing, consulting opportunities for various businesses and offered an additional tool to service her client’s design and merchandizing needs both commercially and residentially. Janet has recently joined Coldwell Banker Sun Coast Commercial and Sea Coast Residential offices to continue her success in the real estate industry to blend her experience in both commercial and residential sales. Janet’s commitment to the area has allowed her to give back her time to many organizations and boards: UNCW Board of Visitors, President of Thalian Hall of Performing Arts, Cape Fear Home Builders/Sales and Marketing Executive Board, Boys and Girls Club Board, Chamber of Commerce annual campaign team as well as being honored to serve on several other boards over the years both here in NC and NJ. She has been the recipient of many new home industry awards in Wilmington and Raleigh NC, in 2000 she was nominated for Woman Of The Year, honored for her commitment to fundraising and volunteer work from various organizations and honored for her achievements in the industry she is so dedicated to for over 30 years.
